If Geek had set him free from the book after 5 years like she promised, then Vel'kex would have been stuck wandering Kaldriel and would likely have been swarmed by 9000 units and hit with enough anti magic blasts to kill him. I thought he was referring to an actual curse on the crown or the throne, not that it was a demon named Curse XP So Curse was a usurper and overthrew the true Queen of Hell. My theory about Geek actually being the Princess of Hell still stands in my mind but instead of her father being the last ruler it was her mother.
