Alright, so after this there's only 1 more back story, hope y'all enjoy it and prepare for TWS!

As hard as it might be to remember, there was a time before the zombies. A time of… Well, not really peace. Humanity was at war with other humans quite often. But life was better. This is the story of one human before the apocalypse in particular. His name was Shawn.
Shawn was a computer programmer who lived in a one bedroom apartment on Main Street. He worked on a project no one really believed was underway, that project being Half Life 3. Yeah, that’s right. But that’s unimportant now, considering it was October 16th, 2014. The day of the outbreak.
He didn't know that though.Shawn was on his way to his girlfriend’s house. She’d left a necklace at his house. Really, though, that was just an excuse for him to go. In his pocket, he had a ring. Yeah, he was really going over to ask her to marry him.
Though, of course, he’d forgotten the necklace he was supposed to be bringing at home. So, he went back to his apartment. He was a bit of a hunting nut, and as such had a variety of hunting equipment around. Unfortunately, he’d lost his trusty crossbow (the only weapon he had) on his last hunting trip. He dug around in his desk and found the necklace. It was a simple gold locket on a gold chain. He opened it, and inside was a picture of him and Cooki. He smiled, dropped it into his pocket, and turned around.
Behind him was a girl. He’d left his door open since he was about to leave again. “Hi… Can I help you?” he asked. She was walking--well, shambling really--towards him. She was pale… Unnaturally so. Almost like she was dead. She growled at him. “Ma’am… Are you okay?” She got within two feet before he started freaking out. He ran into the kitchen, and started looking for a knife or something to use to fight back. She chased him in, still growling.
He found a knife, and spun around to find the walker right behind him. Shawn stabbed, aiming for her heart. Of course, zombies don’t care about that. She growled again and lunged forward. She managed to get a bite in on his neck….
That was the last he remembered before he fainted. And now, he only remembers about half those events.
