READ THIS EDIT: I was a derp. It makes no sense to limit it to "fictional characters" when all of our sign ups are fictional characters anyway. I don't even know how I was defining fictional. So, put whatever characters on it that you want.

YUNA: You'll have to re-enter your thing cause I was an ass. Sorry :/

I had this idea, and I wanted to do it before I forgot.

Basically, I made a doc with a form for creating and storing fictional characters to use for various things. You can use them to sign up for saladcracks, or you can use them as separate characters from saladers. Up to you.

At the moment of the post, there's only two in there. Meg, and the character I made up for Meg to use as an alt that made it into Sharp's fic before the Meg reveal. Please feel free add more. The form and instructions are in the doc.

Also, do you think I should post this on MCL also? Might be useful for them too, I suppose...

Follow Wheaton's Rule: don't be a dick. This is not a place to bash any of the Mindcrackers or fans, no matter how much their opinion may differ from yours. Hatred will be deleted with a vengeance. All other rules and guidelines follow from this rule.

We are ship friendly around these parts! That includes slash, genderbent femslash, and het, on all levels. (As an example: the persona of Guude Boulderfist, the created female version Guude Bouldertits, and the actual man Jason are all welcome characters in people's works here.) If you're not comfortable with this, you probably shouldn't be reading it! We suggest the subreddit for more standard discussion.

All fanworks are welcome here: fic, art, fanmixes, whatever happens to float your boat. Please use cut tags when posting your fanworks; directions on how to do so are in the Dreamwidth FAQ. Discussion is also welcome and encouraged, so don't be afraid to say hello!

FANFIC RULES:
1. ALL FICTIONS MUST GO BEHIND A CUT

This is not negotiable. Some people are not here for fanfiction even if it seems like that's all that exists here. Some people are simply here for discussion topics about their favourite Mindcrackers and that's perfectly okay. In the interests of respecting that and of stopping fics from extending the page, please put all fics behind a cut regardless of length. If you don't know how to do a cut, go and read the dreamwidth FAQ.

2. MATERIAL WHICH WOULD BE CONSIDERED NSFW OR 18+ MUST BE MARKED AS SUCH.
There is an option for this when you post, simply click the drop down box which is marked Age restriction and select the appropriate category. There are minors here, it is very important that works which contain NSFW material are put behind the appropriate cuts and age ratings. It is also considered best practice to warn for anything which may be a trigger for someone, so please use your judgement with that.

Since there were, eh, complaints due to the sheer number of salad fictions (fanfictions in a Mindcrack community that aren't Mindcrack related), a couple of us have created this place. This is the perfect location for you to have a story that uses saladers as characters, but not Mindcrackers.

Mindcrack fanfiction still belongs on salad proper.

Saladcrack (fics with Mindcrackers and Saladers as main characters) should go here. (The exception being: If Mindcrackers are the main characters, and Saladers are not. For example, a Salader could just be a DJ at a club. That would be on Salad proper.)

Saladfics (fics with Saladers as main characters, Mindcrackers secondary or not there) definitely go here.

Please follow the same rules you find on Salad proper. If you have a problem, contact me, writeitinsharpie, or coolboynbg_1
