So! This is a thing! Collab thing! It has stuff! Okay, that's done. Collab brought to you by Clash and Scooter, it's a fun, potentially [redacted for spoilers] (:3) fic with just some friends as characters. Oh, it has inspiration off of a different thing! Here's a link to that! http://waitforiiiiiiiiiiiit.tumblr.com/tagged/these%20are%20the%20best%20days%20of%20our%20lives%20fic

So, without any further ado or me being stupid and rambling, here's a thing for y'all to read and hopefully enyoy!

~Scott POV~

Scott was rushing into school’s doorways, already running late on his first day. Scott was a junior, and new to the school, and state for that matter, as his parents just got transfered. Scott woke up late, and naturally freaked out, rushing to school. “Already late on the first day, damn, this can’t be good” Scott thought to himself.

Scott could tend to be rather absorbed in himself. He loved the way he looked, and the fact that he couldn’t spend half an hour on his hair this morning was killing him. It didn’t look bad by any standards, but damn did he think it did.

He ran in between hallways and upstairs, having little to no idea where his first class even was, he eventually found the room marked as 2-201. Scott tried to sneak into the room, but the second he opened the door, every eye in the classroom was immediately on him. His cheeks flushed red, as he stood there, thinking they were judging him on his looks.

“Glad you could could join us, Mister Dirth I presume?” asked the teacher, in a slightly sarcastic voice that every teacher seemed to have.

“Right, sorry, I got a bit lost on my way here, being new to the school and all that.” said Scott, seemingly flustered.

“Alright then, take your seat, right by Mister Igneratus” said the teacher, pointing to a kid with dark brown hair, with a streak of blue in it. The kid was wearing what appeared to be a jacket with a phoenix on it, over a red shirt. He was also wearing black athletic pants and black combat boots. What was most intriguing however were his red and purple eyes.

“It’s actually Igneregnatus” the boy with the phoenix jacket said.

“Excuse me?” said the teacher, not seeming to understand what the boy meant.

“My last name, it’s Igneregnatus, not Igneratus…”

“Oh right, my apologies.” said the teacher sincerely.

Scott went and sat next to the boy, as he was told to do. Scott was about to introduce himself, but the teacher spoke up again.

“As I was saying, my name is Mr.Sano, and welcome to Physics 201,” said the teacher.

Mr.Sano went on and on about how this would be one of the most difficult classes the students would take during their time in High School, but Scott could care less about what the teacher was saying. What Scott was really interested in was the person sitting next to him, he seemed so, intriguing. As a result, Scott spent most of his time thinking of the kid with the phoenix jacket, instead of actually paying attention to Mr.Sano on his first day.

When the bell rang, the kid next to him got up and was about to leave, however Scott wanted to talk to him, and introduce himself. So Scott walked up to him and did just that.

“Hey, names Scott, I’m new here, but you already knew that” said Scott, he was nervous, and he didn’t know why. But he was doing his best to hide his nervousness with a false confidence.

“Hai, guy! My name’s Clash. It’s nice to meet you, well, besides knowing your name. You need help getting to your next class, or do you know where it is already?” Clash seemed rather energetic to Scott, most people were walking around extremely tired of the first day of school already, but not Clash. In a way, the man’s energy was alluring.

“Oh, yeah, I mean, I know where it is, but, like, just incase you should probably show me.” Scott said, tripping over his own words, and lying about knowing where to go to make himself seem cooler. In retrospect, lying about that probably didn’t make Scott seem any cooler, since it was such a minor thing, but no going back now.

“Oh, sure. Let’s see… Oh, okay. It’s over in the math hallway. I’ll show you where the room is,” Clash said, beginning to lead the way towards Scott’s next class.

Clash seemed like someone Scott wouldn’t mind hanging out with, and getting to know. Plus there just seemed to be something about him, that fascinated him. Scott couldn’t tell if it was the boy’s odd sense of fashion, or his constant smile; either way, Scott liked it. He followed behind Clash in foot, all the way to his math class.

“Thanks for showing me, hey, do you like, hang out anywhere after school or something? Or maybe at lunch?” Said Scott.

“Uh… I don’t have too much time after school usually, but lunch would be awesome. Do you want me to come find you right before lunch so we can go hang out with some of my friends? We have a table in the cafeteria we usually sit at, and I’m sure none of them would mind having you there.”

“That’d be awesome, see you then I guess!” Scott walked inside his classroom, leaving Clash with a wave.

All throughout the rest of the day up until lunch, Scott sat in his classes, bored. He looked around seeing if there was anyone else worth talking to and meeting based off of their body language and conversations with others, but Scott concluded that none of them were really people he entirely cliqued with.

When lunch came around, Scott spotted Clash in the halls rather easily.

“Hey Clash” said Scott, a lot less nervous than earlier.

“Hey, Scooter! Oh, sorry, didn’t mean to call you that. Just kinda… came out,” Clash covered the mistake hastily, a touch of color on his face afterwards.

“Scooter? Hm, that’s an odd nickname, never really been called that before. I like it.” Scott said semi energetically. It appeared to him that Clash’ overall happiness was rubbing off on him.

“Well then, Scooter, wanna head to the table to meet everyone else for lunch now?” Clash said, putting some emphasis on the name.

“Sure, why not?” Clash led Scott to the lunch table, enthusiastically. When Scott arrived he saw a group of people just as diverse as Scott imagined Clash’ friends would be.

“Everyone!” Clash called out to his friends at the table, drawing their attention away from the food in front of them. “This is Scooter, well, Scott, and he’s new here and… yeah. So, Scooter, this is Ratta, Shawn, and Cooki.” Clash gestured to each person individually. Ratta was a very tall, very bulky guy with dark hair and pale skin, looking very similar to a TV character Scott had seen a couple of times as he’d been flipping through channels. Shawn wore a long brown trenchcoat, had blue eyes, and lighter brown hair with a little streak of grey in the front. Cooki had straight blonde hair, 5 feet tall, brown eyes with hints of green, purple shirt, long jeans, blue sandals.

“Alright, well it’s nice to meet y’all, as Clash said, I’m Scott. I just moved up here, obviously, and uh, yeah.” Scott said, his nerves once again coming back. Scott was awful at meeting new people, mainly since he’s never had to really do it. Scott had never moved before, and for the most part, stayed friends with the same people his entire life. Hopefully Scott would be able to do this though. Hopefully.

~Clash POV~

Clash sat down and began to eat lunch like usual, not talking too terribly much, the others conversing with small talk, Goose and Cooki talking about… something, and Ratta and Shawn mostly just talking about upcoming sports. Scott seemed a bit quiet, so Clash tried to spark up a bit of conversation.

“So… Scooter, how are you liking things here so far? Not too terrible in Mr. Sano’s class I hope,” Clash asked, grabbing Scott’s attention from his lunch.

“Oh yeah, I’m totally fine, most of these classes shouldn’t be too difficult, and most of the teachers seem cool enough.” Scott responded, there was something about him that made Clash think that it wasn’t as easy as he was letting on.

“Alrighty. Well, just know, it’s not a bad thing if you have to ask for help. Ratta asks for Shawn’s help all the time!” Clash said teasingly, getting a slightly angry yell and a playful punch in the arm from his much taller friend.

“But we all know who’d beat all of you at a game of hockey!” Ratta said confidently, putting his hands to his sides in a bit of a silly pose, getting small laughs from everyone at the table.

“Anywho. I think this year is going to be lots of fun!” Clash said excitedly, the huge grin on his face appearing on everyone else’s. Clash looked around to his assembled friends, taking maybe a bit longer than was necessary when looking at Scott, and went back to his sandwich, letting everyone converse normally again, although “normal” wasn’t generally used to describe Shawn talking about intergalactic travel and Ratta talking about his magical shovel.

“Scott, where ya from?” Shawn suddenly asked, seeming to catch Scott by surprise as he was in the middle of a bite of his lunch.

“Hm? Oh, uh, Florida, I’m from Florida” said Scott, quickly swallowing down the bite of his sandwich, disregarding chewing in favor of answering the question.

“Oh, hey, Cooki’s from there, too! What are the odds?” Shawn commented, but before any more could be talked about, the lunch bell rang, dismissing everyone to their separate classes again until the end of the day.

“See y’all later!” Clash called out to his friends with a wave as he began to head to his next class, Scott walking the same direction for his. “Hey, Scooter, do you.. want to do something after school maybe? I usually have like an hour and we all go hang out at like a park or a little diner place to hang out until we leave to do homework and jobs and stuff. At least, that’s how we’ve done it. Sorry, rambling. You wanna come and hang out though?” Clash asked, trying to hide some slight nerves and stumbling over words.

“Yes, that’d be great! I mean, like, I have other things I could do, but that’s awesome! I’ll meet you after school.” Scott said, he sounded pretty excited to Clash, though the comment about him having other things to do seemed a little out of place.

“Well, if you have other stuff to do, I don’t want to keep you from that, guy,” Clash said quickly, not wanting to seem forceful or the like.

“No, no, it’s just that, like…” Scott let out a sigh. “I’ll meet you after school…” he then walked away quickly. Clash looked at his new friend in some confusion as he walked away, a look of mild sadness on his face as he put in his earbuds and walked to another boring day of math.

"brown hair with a little streak of grey in the front"

Did.... did I tell you about this? I remember commenting that my hair was blonde-ish near my face (which isn't a thing anymore since I cut it :P), but not that I had a grey streak...

Well. Now it's been confirmed if it wasn't before. So, I'll correct you a tiny bit on it. It's on the right side of my head near the top :P

Edit: FIRST!

Hey y'all, the only major characters in this story are the ones already introduced, and Goose. However you may make appearances as side characters/supporting characters later on! =P
