Slightly reluctant to post this one because of who's perspective it is, but she's important to the story so, posting!

AJ woke up in her dorm, it was Saturday morning. Her roommates Pyro and Sevadus were already up, Pyro was talking about some theory, and Sevadus was freaking out over a spider jumping into his perfect hair.

“Stop being such a dork Sevadus.” AJ grumbled at him, drowsy from just waking up.

“Geesh, I’m sorry! That spider was scary!” Yelled back Sevadus, in an apologetic tone. As he did, a knock sounded on the door, and AJ went to answer it, finding her cousin Van, and her brother Nebris.

“Oh, hey.” AJ said, greeting them nonchalantly.

“Surprise!” An over-the-top-happy-Van shouted, but being that happy wasn’t out of the ordinary for Van.

“Oh boy, surprises.” AJ mumbled, still tired.

“Oh, it’s almost like you’re not happy to see us.” Nebris replied, as he messed up AJ’s already messy hair. If anyone else did this to AJ she’d probably punch them in the stomach, but it was her big brother, it was his responsibility to make her life Hell.

“Yeah, whatever, come on in.” AJ sighed in reply.

The five of them spent the rest of the morning, lightly chatting amongst them. They talked about all sorts of things, starting with the normal, ‘So, how have you been’ and ‘Oh, is that a new couch?’, but quickly moving onto other topics ranging from hair care products to video games; with the conversation lasting to lunch time.

“I’m bored, we should play a board game or something!” Sevadus blurted out during one of the lulls in the rapidly dulling conversation.

No one really had any objections to Sevadus’ idea, so the 5 of them sat down and played a game of The Walking Dead Clue. However, the game didn’t last long, with Nebris winning on his third turn.

“Okay, cheat!” Pyro called out.

“Nebs you totally cheated.” AJ agreed.

“Huh, you know me too well sis.” Nebris admitted with a smirk on his face. With that putting the board game to an end, the group decided to head to lunch, Pyro sitting in the back seat sulking at the fact that Sevadus was driving rather than him, despite having unlocked mirror mode in Mario Kart.

They arrived at a nice Seafood restaurant to eat, and the meal went smoothly, though there was some fighting over who would pay before Van volunteered. The issue came when they exited the restaurant, only to find their car gone.

“Damn it Sevadus, I told you I should’ve drove!” Pyro yelled as they discovered their new lack of automobiles.

“Okay, I’m sorry geesh!” Sevadus replied, though at a significantly lower volume. The ensuing argument ending in the group just deciding to head home, and look for the car later. With Pyro still angry and Sevadus scrunched up, being embarrassed, most of the walk passed in an awkward silence, before AJ decided to try and start a conversation.

“So you gu-” AJ started to say before a bird fell in front of her, not dead but very close to it. In her anger over the car, she simply kicked the bird into the street and kept walking. As she did, a gasp came from behind her, and a young woman, about AJ’s age rushed up to her.

“Yes, Hello, My name is Sarah and I’m a member of PETA, I’m going to have to put you under citizen’s arrest for killing such a pure, innocent, animal.” The woman said, as she rushed up. In response, AJ simply pushed her aside and kept walking, making Nebris laugh. Van looked at Sarah sympathetically, but did nothing, knowing that AJ and Nebris would never change.

“I’ll get you, you animal murderer!” Sarah yelled at them from the ground as they passed by. AJ, deciding not to start a fight, simply flipped the bird at her and continued on. They reached their dorm right as it began to rain, barely sprinting inside before Sevadus would have started complaining that his perfect hair had been ruined.

“Just in time.” Van said with a smile. “Now what are gonna do about getting home, Sevadus lost our car.”

“I said I was sorry, okay!” Sevadus yelled from the other room.

“Eh, I’ll figure it out later; right now I’m tired, so I’m gonna take a nap.” Nebris replied with a yawn.

“Yeah, I’m pretty sleepy too...” Sevadus agreed, and the two headed to bed shortly after. The three who were still up continued to talk, topics shifting randomly, until they were interrupted by a knock on the door.

“I guess I’ll get it.” AJ grumbled, forcing herself up. She walked there slowly, and finally opened the door, only to find an annoying sight: Sarah.

“What the hell do you want?” AJ growled, openly hostile.

“I want to avenge the life of that poor bird you murdered in cold blood, so I’ve come to take away everything you own!” She yelled, trying to enter the room. AJ simply moved her arm to block the doorway, and kicked her in the stomach. As Sarah doubled over, AJ slammed the door in her face, locking it behind her as she walked back to the couch.

“AJ, what did I tell you about being so violent?” Van said to AJ as she sat down, pouting.

“But it’s fun!” AJ’s replied. Shortly after, there was another knock on the door. Not wishing to bother with Sarah again, AJ looked through the peep-hole of her door to see the superintendent of the school standing outside. Quickly opening the door, AJ found herself standing not only in front of the superintendent, but also a fuming Sarah as well.

“AJ, I’ve been told you haven’t been treating your new roommate with the utmost respect.” The superintendent said, looking at AJ with a raised eyebrow. As he said that, Pyro jumped out of the chair he was sitting in, and turned to the door.

“What!? She is not our new roommate!” Called out Pyro.

“Yes she is, she is new, and I expect you to give her a good welcome.” The superintendent said sternly. “No complaints.” He finished before shoving Sarah into the room and pulling the door shut.

Resigning to the new person, AJ threw up her hand, walked to her favorite chair, and started to read her book, before Sarah ripped it from her hands. .

“Murderers are not allowed to read!” Sarah screamed at AJ, throwing the book to the floor.

“I didn’t kill the stupid bird! Got that?” AJ, now furious, shouted in response and picked up the book.

“No bird is ever stupid!” Sarah continued to scream, even louder than before. In response, a groan came from one of the adjacent bedrooms, and a half-asleep Nebris walked out. Without a word, he simply walked over to Sarah, picked her up, dropped her outside, locked the door, and went back to bed; just as he would if he had gotten a glass of water.
