First things first, I want to say happy birthday to the Monstrous series, and plug Tanadin's author page on Amazon. It's been two years now, since the first chapter of the original Monstrous, and now it's out there for the world to see! Huge congrats, Tanadin.

Second of all, (and it's entirely coincidental that I'm posting this today, Monstrous's birthday and publishing date) I have a prologue to post. An original story that... some of you have read parts of.... But it's been heavily revised, and I have plans to actually finish it this time.

So without further ado... Let's see if paragraphs that are tabbed over still look like shit on Dreamwidth.

This is a bit of a longer chapter, but it introduces one of my FAVORITE characters in all of DoN, who brings with them probably the best arc in the entire story. It, at least, LOOKS that way in planning. We'll see.

I had a really hard time getting this out and it's barely edited so if there's mistakes, I'm sorry. The second scene especially gave me trouble and I don't know if it's even interesting but its there- I had to take out an entire 1.5k word scene to use in a later chapter due to chronological bullshit with Twelve and replaced it with this so I essentially wrote 1.5 chapters today and I was NOT ready for that.

Firstly, the title for this work is grossly unfitting, but so seems to be all the titles I've thought of for it. This is a one off, and I guess it's "deep" or whatever. I wrote it earlier this week when I wasn't feeling very chipper. It's entirely up for interpretation, and the only reason I'm posting it at all is because I'm interested in seeing what people perceive it as in their own lives.
